Let My Women Go is an epic tale of enslavement, resistance, and triumph. It tells the story of Sarah and Elizabeth, two enslaved women who fought for their freedom and the freedom of their people.

Sarah was born into slavery in Maryland in 1808. She was sold to a plantation owner in Alabama, where she was forced to work in the fields. Elizabeth was born into slavery in Virginia in 1810. She was sold to a plantation owner in Mississippi, where she was forced to work in the kitchen.

Both Sarah and Elizabeth were subjected to the horrors of slavery. They were beaten, whipped, and sexually abused. But they never gave up hope of freedom.

In 1848, Sarah and Elizabeth escaped from their plantations. They traveled north on the Underground Railroad, a network of secret routes and safe houses that helped enslaved people escape to freedom in the North.

Sarah and Elizabeth eventually made it to Canada, where they were finally free. They dedicated their lives to helping other enslaved people escape to freedom. Sarah became a conductor on the Underground Railroad, and Elizabeth became a teacher and abolitionist.

Let My Women Go is a powerful and inspiring story of two women who overcame incredible odds to achieve freedom. It is a story that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
